Oh great news. That stupid women has finally cut off her connections. Which means we have to get a new one for ourselves soon. Which means we going WITHOUT phone line and internet connection for at least 10 working days. Argh. Prolonged suffer.

I think I’m getting a little sore throat. Went home early for most of the days and was lazy to make lunch.. so I had tons of dark choco digestive biscuits. Lol.

Nothing much happened. Except that I really want to get my hands on my heaps of shows waiting to be downloaded. And I’m going to the party today which I intend to leave an hour later. Haha. I even have to bring my passport in order to be allowed in there.

i’m in quite gd terms with my jap assistant teacher.. she’s nice.. and pretty. Haha..

well. Gotta go search for journals for my tourism tut next week. I’m loving the library. Ha ha ha. It’s my portal to all study and private life. Wee.

I was so eager to tell all of u abt my Saturday but the internet failed me again.. probably till now it’s still not working at home… I’m in sch right now.. waiting for my lessons to start..
we shall do it w/o the photos 1st.. I cant upload it here.. haha.. we made hello kitty pancakes in the morning.. or shld I say we intended to make.. haha.. it turned out quite badly.. 2 out of 5 turns out alright.. we had it with ice cream n peaches n maple syrup.. haha.. yum. Sinful breakfast.

We went to the new HUGE IKEA.. which is like.. 2 to 3 times of ours.. packed with ppl.. cuz it just opened during valentines.. I manage to find a few book boxes.. hanger for folded clothes.. while the rest didn’t get anything..

Went to jasmine’s hse for beanbags.. then went home to keep the clothes n rest a little bit..

We went to burswood around 6pm.. it’s a huge place with casinos, hotels, function rooms, playgrounds, nice view along the lake, big grass area.. n we went there for outdoor movie! PS I Love You. It’s so so cool to watch outdoors.. ppl lay their mats, beanbags, chairs, pillows, slping bags, towels.. whatever they have.. then start eating picnic dinner.. or u can order pizza which will be delivered rite to the place b4 the movie.. then we wait for the sun to set.. lie down in a comfy position n watch the stars starting to shine..

Halfway thru the movie I actually thgt I saw a lamp behind the screen.. it turns out to be the moon.. which slowly rises and the whole sky moved with it as well.. instead of ppl heads moving in front of the screen.. u get seagulls.. flying past in flocks.. instead of aircon.. u have the summer night breeze.. which is cold.. n has nth ‘summer’ abt it.. lol. It’s such a nice experience which Singapore will probably nv have.. Shrugs. Who noes. With IR, anything is possible! I think….

Couples shld seriously try it.. esp with a romantic show.. so u wouldn’t be trembling alone like I did.. haha..

The weather here is a little crazy at thee moment.. it was cold last wk.. we can get to 16 degrees in the morning and 26 in the afternoon.. the wind here is harsh n dry.. but ytd nite it suddenly turned a little warm again.. n I could go to sch in shorts today.. haha.. apparently the aircon system seems to feel tt way as well.. cuz the indoors r getting colder than last wk.. according to the weather forecast.. it will hit 37 degress tml.. oh god.

Oh. I have this welcome party from my jap class on fri at the tavern.. which sells alcoholic drinks.. at 4pm.. and I’m ending class at 130pm.. shld I go? My teacher did call out my name n insist tt me n sho shld go… since we r the onli 2 newbies in this class.. but urgh. Gotta wait tt long. On a Friday somemore.. hmmmmmmm…. Decide for me ppl! Lol.

in sch's library right now. n i cant view my own blog! wth. wad's wrong with the internet connection here.. lols. anyway.. i found out how to use the internet in sch! yay! i can do my IR project now.. hahaa..

due for jap class in another 2 HOURS. but i kind of like this place better now.. i've been to most of my tutorials.. have a reali nice tutor for foundation unit.. i mostly get the main lecturer for my tutor for other units.. business law is DIFFICULT.. n the tutor had this strong aussie accent.. trying hard to understand.. lols.

i think i'm catching up with the way of speaking now.. like trying to express wad u think in english instead of mandarin.. but to tell u the truth.. recently i'm phrasing my thoughts in japanese instead.. lols.

i miss u guys lots.. now tt i cant even access to msn on prime time [evening till midnight].. it's worst!

ok. the homesick feeling is starting to sink in.. lol. still sitting at my usual spot. i'm so glad i took Japanese becuz tt's the onli time i feel comfortable in sch. i know there r lots of ppl awfully knowledgeable.. probably relate to lessons better since they're australians.. couldnt reali relate to tourism.. though tutors n classmates are fine.. i sort of stick out in a class.. tried my best to speak up.. but there's probably nth much in me to contribute anyway.. totally going to fail klass participation..

seeing asians with asians friends.. girls speaking singlish in the toilet.. makes me so empty.. i'm here.. listening to music.. feeling the breeze.. watching ppl walk by.. isolated.

but i'll be fine once i'm home. though the internet sucks. lol.

maybe i should major in asians studies instead. though it's totally imposible. it's a weird thing to do it in aussie as well. but at least i would look forward to lessons.

i know i will.. but when will i ever have friends? not classmates but friends.

to tell the truth i dont get a third of what my lecturers n english speakers are saying. the jokes they r laughing at, the qns they're asking. when it comes to essays, i'm sure i'll have the least innovative, minimal vocab usuage, least expressive one.

i met ppl who came to study out of interest. not becuz it's the onli path. when will i take my studies like tis? instead of feeling enormously depressed when i see the presentations n essays i'm suppose to do.

i'm reali so pissed off at this internet connection. i can connect to many websites EXCEPT MY SCH'S. wtf. i have so many things to do online........ n i need to search for sth abt the IR. which kind soul can help me find the newspaper articles abt IR in singapore n email to me @ jovislsy@gmail.com?????? hahaha. i'm so desperate already. i have to hand in by next tues~!!! seriously going to cry.

yes i made a friend. nice australian ger. who's in half of my classes.. but.. i duno how to say it. miss my singapore lifestyle.

probably the onli thing tt kept me on is talking to u guys.. but tt didnt work since the damn internet connection is failing me. the other thing is the downloads of jap shows.. which didnt work as well due the internet. i've finished reading the jap mags tt i have.. the next ones will come probably in another 2 mths??? [Jonethan if u r reading this.. pls rmb to buy poporo n myojo on this sat!!!!! thank u, u lifesaver.]

and yes, u tend to cry when u get homesick. but nobody is going to give much damn to a 20 yr old ger.. crying cuz she misses mum n her frens. lol.

1st day of sch. yawns. unexpectedly short.. started at 930 ended at 1230.. not to mention a 1h break in between.. i wonder how free are the rest of the first yrs.. cuz i have one yr 2 unit.. n it seems much more taxing than a yr 1 one..

1st lesson.. jap class.. wad a gd start of the wk.. lol. most of the students r yr 2.. so they noe each other pretty well.. all of them were chatting with each other while i merge into the background listening to them..

one of them said "i went back to singapore!!! it changed so much!! it's so different from 13 YEARS ago!"

and his friend (an angmoh) said.. "yeah! i love singapore! the shopping......... (mumbles) little india........ (mumble mumble..) it's such a nice place!"

hahaha.. they still do not noe i'm a singaporean.. but oh well.. hahaha.. they may.. in time to come.. 2 of the students belong to the hmm... japanese society? sth along tt line.. trying to get us into the club.. hahaa..

as the teacher walked in.. somehow he managed to spot me in the background.. n 'forced' me to sit beside a guy name sho.. who happens to be a 1st yr like me.. who happens to be a mix of british & jap.. who happens to be gd looking... (ok. actually i onli noticed the freaking long eyelashes) who happens to love music.. plays the sax.. wants to learn piano.. well. tt's all i noe after 5min of "intro urself to ur neighbour in jap" kind of activity..

anyway.. spent my free hour at the same old place alone.. trying to finish up some of the hmwk.. (yes! hmwk!! after my 1st hour of lesson!! damn it.) then went for foundation unit lect..

foundation unit is like... GP.. it's like.. teaching u how to write in uni style through a topic.. for me it's "age of information".. boring as it may seem.. IT'S THE ONLI INTERESTING ONE! n the 1st lect.. is obviously BORING. the lecturer went on n on in this.... monotonous voice... i was trying so hard not to yawn.. while the ger next to me started drawing flowers in her notes.. LOL.

there were 2 singaporean guys happily chatting their way thru.. not knowing tt their voices travelled nice a full down the whole LT.. there were like "zhe li mei you ren ting de dong de la~" i was resisting myself to turn n stare.. hahaha..

had lunch with zy... tried 'The Lunch Box' rather than the usual asian caravan.. the katsu rice box sucked. lols. the pork is like... chicken breast meat.. lols. but according to zy.. tt's one of the nicer food in lunch box... oh well. now i noe i shld stick to the asian caravan.. lol.

headed home on my own.. totally bashed.. internet is down.. as in.. very inconsistent.. n we cant change it until the 'bitch' cancels her line.. n she refuses to.. cuz she MAY be coming back to stay.. n she doesnt wan to change everything tt's under her name... including the bills.. we dont noe wad's her internet plan.. whether it suits the 3 of us or not.. cuz we d/l lots of stuffs.. once u exceed a certain limit.. the connection SL~~O~~Ws down...

well.. anyway.. gotta go do my stuffs.. for tml.. ARGH. cant believe it.

i've spent the wk rotting at home.. facing the fact tt sch is going to start! not anticipating it though.. for i've been going to sch with the same bunch of gers for 6 yrs.. it feels weird.. haha..

we were discussing abt when we r going to have our house warming.. most probably after tt women comes n collect all her stuffs.. then they were going on abt the vet n medical students fight once they call all their frens along... i was thinking.. i will most probably in my room.. peacefully surfing the net.. hahaha... not tt i reali mind..

we are going to have a mahjong party soon as well.. probably next wk.. lol. i'm not much of a mahjong player nor a gambler.. so i think i'll be in my room as well! hahah..

current plan.. watching jumper next wk.. going to ikea.. wondering wad shld i get... going to buy my textbks...

hmmm... hopefully tis internet will last... it's a little weird.. it cuts off suddenly.. i cant connect to it.. it loads pages like ages.. n ended up not loading at all.. driving me crazy.. it's my onli entertainment!!!! pls don't turn against me...

btw. did i mention wad happened ytd? i chopped my finger!! ok la.. not to tt extend.. but i was helping jasmine.. my cousin's gf.. to do dinner.. somebody shouted when i was slicing the carrot.. n there goes a gush of blood.. hahaha.. surprisingly calmed.. though it hurts.. n nobody found out until i was frantically searching for another bandaid.. lol.

am i more independent than i thgt i am? lols. i thgt i would feel reali homesick.. yet.. i'm totally fine.. i guess my cousins do make a diff.. but i feel so at home in this house.. i'm not exactly panicky when i noticed i have zero frens.. i feel fine walking around all alone.. eating meals all alone.. not tt i reali want to la... lols.

i'm most probably going to hokkaido in july!!!! weeeeeee~! sth to look forward to during the hols.. hohohoho.... we bugged our mums hard enough to get the tickets.. lol. my cousin is returning to singapore jux so she can go hokkaido as well..

tag me more if u can... i wan to feel more connected to humans.. hahaha.. i'm reali anti social w/o the gers.. hahaha..

Breakfast: Bread with nutella, apple juice and one orange.

haha. home alone this morning.. wad a v day~ the internet connection here is so bad tt i get disconnected often.. well. i have the rest of this wk free b4 my timetable starts.. sobs. still cant get my notes yet.. *screams*

zx went out with his gf today.. left me n zy at nite.. we managed to find the ingredients for jap curry.. so tt's wad we made! the veggies r going to rot... lol. have to think of how to finish them up by tml..

so how's everybody's v day~~? certainly more interesting than mine.. i jux spent my day rotting in my room... vacuuming the hse.. reading my mags.. yawns.

well. hello everybody. eons have passed since i've last wrote.. currently in perth n my mum left today~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SOBS. actually i'm not quite sure how i feel. it's like.. this is the 1st time i'm doing this but i'm not excited for sch, neither do i hate it, i have no frens, no mum, no anybody except my 2 cousins. who are perfectly nice to me though not to the extent where i'm totally comfortable in showing my mean self.. lols.

up till now, i've done a few things on my own! not fantastically difficult stuffs.. but i managed to get to sch in one piece on my own in a country i've onli lived for 4 days.. opening a bank account, working out on my complicated course arrangement..

btw, uni students (esp double majors ppl) ADVICE PLS! i'm excluded from 1st yr jap.. n the professor actually encouraged me to take a 2nd major in asian studies aka japanese.. i will most prob extend my curriculum to 4 yrs or 4 and a half yrs... but i may get to go to japan for exchange for one sem.. *scream* shld i, shld i not?

It's sunny n warm down here like singapore.. except it's 10 times worst... i'm a tone darker jux by going to sch.. hahaha.. n the sun here sets at 830pm!! due to time saving we are an hour ahead of singapore..

so basically.. being anti social.. i found this nice shady quiet place to wait for my cousin..( 1st pic below) it's so nice that even if i'm killed ther they'd probably find me the next day after all my blod had drained off.. lol. i dun reali some of the singaporeans i see here.. so yeah. hopefully i meet somebody nice..




my hse is pretty nice and comfy.. most rooms r carpeted.. but the previous owner.. being a bitch.. left a whole crap of mess for us to clean up.. the worst part.. we cant even throw them.. cuz according to her.. she'll be coming back to COLLECT them.. who the hell knows when.. she even has her car here! made our mums worked like hell to make tis place human like.. we clean up while cursing her.. =D





as u can c.. it's still not very tidy.. haha.. well.. who cares~
